Intercultural Programs Fall Retreat
The ICP Office is hosting the ICP Fall Retreat “Connect” from Friday, September 17th - Sunday, September 19th. The vision of this retreat is to welcome students into the ICP Community as well as connect students to the resources, faculty and staff involved with our office.
Retreat Goals/Objectives
- Create an opportunity early in the academic year for students interested in Intercultural Programs to meet and build community alongside staff and faculty invested in supporting ethnic and racial diversity on campus
- Provide an opportunity to introduce our six Intercultural Orgs (ICOs) and connect students who are looking to get more involved in exploring ethnic identity
Retreat Details:
WHO: Anyone from the Westmont Community (registration required, limited space available)
WHAT: A two night retreat for the Westmont ICP community
WHERE: San Marcos Christian Camp just outside of Santa Barbara
WHEN: 4pm Friday, September 23rd - 12pm Sunday, September 25th, 2022
WHY: Continue to build a multicultural Westmont community and explore identity
HOW: Complete and submit the online registration along with the registration payment. Proof of covid-19 vaccination will be required in order to attend this retreat. There are a limited number of spots - if you are on the waitlist, ICP staff will reach out to let you know.
Student Registration Process and Timeline:
Registration for ICP Connect 2021 is not yet open. An allstudent email will be sent when it becomes available.
** If you'd like to request financial assistance from ICP, please email Blake Thomas with a brief explanation of the need for assistance. We do not want the registration cost to prohibit anyone from participating.
