Meet Riley Johnson. This new Westmont Warrior comes from Foothill Ranch, California. He first learned about the college when a pastor recommended Westmont’s Trailhead Program. “I spent an amazing two weeks last summer discovering how I am shaped, exploring how my faith and career could intersect, making amazing friends from around the country and spending time alone with God,” he says. “I know this helped me remain rooted in my faith and goals through an otherwise stressful college application process.”

Riley looks forward to working with his professors, becoming part of the Warrior community—and finding some good surf, “I know I’ll thrive at a small school where I can have personal relationships with my professors and easily meet students who desire to grow in their faith. I want to make friendships that last a lifetime and be spiritually and intellectually challenged in college—and I want to explore the Santa Barbara surf breaks!”

At Westmont, he’ll participate in the Augustinian Scholars program. “This will give me an unbelievable opportunity to combine my desire for real discipleship in college with an exceptional top-rated liberal arts education,” he says.

Still deciding which college is right for you? Riley has some advice. “Get away and spend some time with God. I made a pros-and-cons list on all my options. Then I asked the question, “Where will I grow the most spiritually? I had a complete sense of peace after I made the decision, and God continues to confirm that Westmont is the school for me.” CONFIRM TODAY and join Riley in the incoming Warrior class this fall!
