First-Year Experience Pre-Orientation Adventure Trips
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, we have unfortunately had to cancel all Adventure Trips for Summer 2020. If possible, we will look to schedule a fall break trip to the Channel Islands. We are sorry that we cannot offer this opportunity this year. If you have any questions, please reach out the Campus Life Coordinator at kasmiller@westmont.edu.
Before starting at Westmont, consider joining a Pre-Orientation Adventure Trip.
Trips consist of three different optional trips from which new students can select. The options are the Backpacking Adventure, the Santa Barbara Adventure, and the Urban Adventure. Each activity is “challenge by choice.” Therefore each participant has the opportunity to choose the level at which they participate during their trip.
Contact will not always be easy or even possible during the Backpacking and Santa Barbara Adventures due to the very busy schedule and outdoor nature of our program.
