Westmont recognizes that many students are enrolled in high schools across the country that share our philosophy of academic rigor, our commitment to the Christian faith and investment in whole-student development. We are proud to share this mission with our secondary education partners, and we’re pleased to guarantee admission to students meeting high standards from select schools. Students admitted under these standards are also guaranteed a minimum of $15,000 in institutional scholarship.
What are the requirements on a student to earn guaranteed admission under this agreement?
- Completion of the following required coursework with a grade of B+ or better.
- 4 years of English
- 2 years of science, including 2 years of lab science
- 3 years of math, including at least second-year algebra
- 2 years of one foreign language
- 2 years of social science
- Attainment of a minimum cumulative weighted 9-11th grade point average of 3.3 or better at one of our partner high schools.
- Completion of an application for admission, including submission of official high school transcripts and one academic letter of recommendation.
- Agreement with Westmont’s Community Life Statement.
What can students expect in a financial aid package from Westmont?
- Students admitted under this agreement are guaranteed a minimum of $15,000 in scholarship. Scholarship awards will increase commensurate with a student’s achievements, in accordance with Westmont’s scholarship model.
- Students filing a FAFSA may also be eligible for institutional grants and loans, making a Westmont education a tremendous value.
