Artist Bio
Dane Goodman works in a broad range of media and scale, from installations to printmaking to handheld sculptures. He has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across the United States including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle, and Santa Barbara. His artwork is in numerous museums and private and civic collections. Goodman has been a lecturer and artist-in-residence at museums, colleges, universities, and workshops in California, New Mexico, and the Midwest. Recently he was documented as a Master Artist by the Focus on the Masters organization. He has been nominated for the National Award in the Visual Arts and the FOCA Award in Los Angeles. He is a recipient of the County of Santa Barbara Individual Artist Award. Goodman has twice been a panelist for the National Endowment of the Arts, Washington DC.
