Housing Sign-Ups for Next Year Overview of Sign-Ups
Here are 3 steps to help you understand how to request and reserve housing for the next academic year, whether it be for selecting college housing or for obtaining approval to reside off campus:
|1. SUBMIT online Housing Sign-Ups request form by the Due Date for the type of housing you are requesting!||Go to Request Forms|
|2. WATCH for an email notification from Housing on the Notification Date for the type of housing you requested. This email will give you the status of your request: see 2a or 2b||
2a. If you get an email from Housing indicating your group request was approved, you will need to attend the communicated virtual selection event (see STEP 3).
2b. If you get an email indicating your group request was not approved, return to the request forms to submit an alternative request.
|3. COMPLETE YOUR HOUSING: see 3a for your room or OV apartment selection, or see 3b for off-campus commuting (i.e. from a non-Westmont property)||3a. ATTEND your Selection Event, after receiving a qualifying email, in order to select your specific room. If at least one member from your group (or your pre-authorized proxy) does not attend and select, your entire request may go to the bottom of the list. You may even no longer be considered for that housing option.|
|3b. SUBMIT the supplemental online "Off-Campus Living Agreement,"after receiving a qualifying email, and provide your off-campus location to the Housing Office.|
