Artist Statement
All my art is about memory, more specifically about moments in time. It can be of a shape or color I briefly saw that stuck in my head. It can be the memory of the warmth of the sun on my face. It can be a dream. It can be as small as any of those, or it can be as large as the memory of my father or my mother, or of a younger self. Time is the incubator that takes it all in, every random thought, every image stuck in my brain. Time instills the randomness of memory with meaning, and organizes it from seeming chaos into a personal language of art.
