Meet Eden Lawson
Eden Lawson chose Westmont not only for its proximity to the beach but because it felt like home. “The teachers and students were immediately ready to welcome me,” he says. “My first time there I ran into the admissions counselors downtown, and we chatted for a half hour. That atmosphere, where you meet such great people and live with them on and off campus, drew me to Westmont.”
Eden looks forward to studying abroad on a Westmont program. “Traveling the world while studying what you love is such a rare opportunity and has the potential to drastically change your life,” he says. “The idea that I’ll be halfway around the world in two years learning about other cultures and experiencing that with classmates keeps me on the edge of my seat.”
Are you still deciding what college is right for you? “College is what you make of it,” Eden says. “Choose the one where you think you have the opportunity to make the largest impact within yourself and others. Oftentimes that looks like a place where you feel comfortable, content and constantly excited for what you can do at that school.” We’re excited to welcome Eden to our Warrior community!
