Meet Isabella Tejada
Isabella Tejeda found Westmont by accident. While traveling along the coast visiting both colleges and beaches, Isabella, her mom and her friend happened upon Westmont. “We wandered into Kerrwood Hall and stumbled into Tom Cochrane, who generously sat down with us to discuss Westmont. We were about to go on a mini tour when President Beebe came out of his office and took time to give us some more insight about the Westmont experience. From that moment on, I knew Westmont was the place for me.”
After her initial visit, Isabella returned for Augustinian Scholars Weekend, which confirmed her decision to attend Westmont. “After visiting the beautiful campus and learning more about the faith-filled environment, I fell in love,” she says. “I am most looking forward to the rigorous academics and the opportunity to meet new people. Being given the ability to study hard while openly discussing my faith is something I am excited and thankful for.”
Are you still deciding what college is right for you? Isabella says, “Find somewhere that feels like home. I remember that from the moment I stepped on the Kerrwood Lawn I knew that Westmont would be my home. Also, choose the school that will not only support you in what you do but will also give you a second family.” We’re excited to welcome Isabella to our Warrior family!
