Born in Reno, Nevada, David grew up in Brooklyn, New York, receiving his MFA from Parson’s School of Design. An abstract painter, his signature style incorporates encaustic – a technique in which he mixes pigments with heated beeswax. The geometric shapes of his work are created from multiple small canvases fastened together on the reverse side.
