Education & Outreach Coordinator
TAMARA VAUGHAN
As the Education/Outreach Coordinator, it has been fun to explore new ways to connect with members and followers while working from home! Along with designing the virtual exhibition, I have kept a consistent social media presence both on Facebook and Instagram. It has been so fun to interact with Santa Barbara artists, community members, and Westmont alumni on both platforms!
Although we were very sad to have to cancel our workshops and tours in the spring as well as our July summer camp, it has been exciting to think of new ways to offer education and outreach during this time. Along with many other Santa Barbara cultural institutions, we have been working with TVSB to provide educational videos for the community. Keep an eye out for 805 Inspires to begin soon! We will also be offering some online activity videos instead of our July summer camp. We will be sending out more information on this very soon!
I have also been hard at work on the Perry Print catalogue and exhibition for the fall, and I am so excited to share it with everyone. Although I have been enjoying my new home that my husband and I moved into last year, I cannot wait to welcome you back to the Museum and show you all the work we have been doing during this time!
Sincerely,
Tamara Vaughan
