Westmont Wednesday a Success
Westmont Wednesday was a weeklong effort in April to support students and ensure they can benefit from Westmont's rigorous, Christian liberal arts education. The community effort increased scholarship assistance for students by raising funds for a challenge match.
COMMUNITY RAISES $114,000 FOR STUDENTS
Giving Tuesday Makes a Difference
Inspired by Giving Tuesday, a donor pledged $50,000 to double the impact of gifts to the Westmont Fund for one week, November 21-28.
The outpouring of support from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends helped Westmont blow past the goal! Supporters gave more than $64,000 to ensure Westmont could secure the entire challenge gift to benefit students. In one week alone, the community made it possible to direct $114,000 to the Westmont Fund, vital to student scholarships. This generosity speaks volumes to the strength of this community and shared desire to remove financial obstacles for students seeking a transformative, Christian liberal arts education.
