What is one resource students should know about? Professor office hours and Take A Professor to Lunch! Profs want to get to know you and they’ll be some of your biggest cheerleaders during your time at Westmont.

Favorite Class and why? Public Speaking in Kinesiology with Coach John Moore. “Public Speaking” makes it sound super intimidating, but it’s just a really fun class and you walk out with an entire class of new friends. Coach Moore cares a lot about his students and he really loves to bring us all together!

What should people bring and what should they NOT bring? You should definitely bring some fun string lights, fans, and lots of pictures or things to decorate your walls with! Make your room feel like home and comfortable to you. Don’t bring things you won’t actually use or the clothes you’ve never worn at home! At first you might feel prepared for anything, but it ends up cluttering your space and the less random things you bring, the more you’ll thank yourself moving out at the end of the year.
