Favorite thing about Westmont? I have loved getting to know people and build relationships with coworkers. There is a depth of relationship here that I really appreciate.

Favorite college memory? My favorite college memory has to be participating in the Gospel Choir at Wheaton. This was my first time being one of a small group of white people in a room and delving into a church culture was very different from what I experienced growing up, and is where I attribute the first steps of my own racial identity development. My experiences in Gospel Choir have served as extremely important reference points for me as I continue to learn what it means to have white privilege and to use my privilege to elevate black and brown voices.

What makes you laugh? Dog videos, The Office, and dad jokes

What is your favorite thing to do away from Westmont? Take my puppy, Athan, to the beach with my husband, Tim, share good cups of coffee with friends, and run down by the ocean.

What is a place that you like to vacation? ANY of the National Parks! My husband and I love to go camping and hiking with our dog. To us, it is a very refreshing way to relax and take a break from the normal.
