How did you end up at Westmont? I was first hired as the Page Hall Resident Director in 2010. I was then promoted as the Assistant Director in 2013, and eventually hired as the Director in 2017. I love working at Westmont, and I came to the college because I believe in its mission. I want to be a part of the good work of cultivating thoughtful scholars, grateful servants, and faithful leaders.

Favorite thing about Westmont? I love the students of Westmont. They are brilliant, passionate, and inspiring people. They are funny, creative, and hopeful people. I know I am working with the next generation of leaders, who will seek to bring positive and effective change in their communities.

Favorite college memory? Meeting my husband Denzyl; late night capture the flag; white water rafting; laughing with dear friends and mentors.

Favorite book(s) in your library? Life of Phi by Yann Martel; Theology of Hope by Jurgen Moltmann; Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts; Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom; Theology from the Belly of the Whale by Joerg Rieger.

What is your favorite thing to do away from Westmont? I love to go running by the beach, visit old bookstores, people watch on the boardwalk, play sand volleyball, and drink coffee with good friends.

Where is a place that you like to vacation? I love to vacation to cities or countries I have never visited before; places that are completely new to me and that will offer a new experiences with a twist of adventure.
