Clubs Westmont Polo Club

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the organization is to offer students the opportunity to participate in instructional, competitive, and recreational equestrian activities including polo. The club consists of the POLO TEAM and NON-RIDING SUPPORT TEAM, so those who do not wish to ride can be a part of the club. The club's primary objective is to glorify God on and off the field through athletic success and sportsmanlike attitudes, while improving as individuals and as a team. The club will adhere to the Westmont Athletic mission statement which states that teams shall be "committed to cultivating maturity of mind, body and spirit, through the rigorous pursuit of athletic excellence, integrated learning and Christ-centered leadership.” The club will take competition seriously but remember to keep a spirit of play and remember that players are all part of the greater polo community.

Vision Statement:

In the future, we hope the club will be able to raise enough funds to give students who may not be able to afford lessons the opportunity to ride. We would also like to have teammates of all skill levels and ages who can mentor and encourage one another. We want to grow the program's reputation so that it reflects positively on Westmont, both by athletic success and by the way we glorify God. We would like to be able to compete on a high level while also including beginners.

Club Meetings:

TBD
