Transfer Spotlight Chet Stussy

Chet missed sunny California and transferred to Westmont from a music conservatory on the East Coast. Attracted by college’s incredible music program, he plays the tuba in the Westmont Orchestra and sings in the College Choir.

The college’s small size helps him develop relationships, especially with professors. “They care about your personal situation and your challenges,” he says. He also appreciates getting to know students. “There’s a total sense of community in comparison to my other school,” he says.
