Transfer Spotlight Lawrence Eady

Lawrence appreciates Westmont’s emphasis on Christian faith and loves the campus with its natural beauty, wooded paths, ascending mountain peaks and dramatic ocean views.

But after attending a large junior college, he wondered about Westmont’s size. He loves the community he has found on campus. “So many people here are willing to help you get where you want to be,” he says. In the classroom, his professors are actively engaged in the lives of their students. “My English professor makes sure everyone knows the material super well,” he says. Lawrence and his friends attend a weekly Capax Dei Bible study and regularly dive into Jesus Burgers, a local ministry that offers free food and prayer to students at a neighboring university.
