Transfer Spotlight Nadya Wisham

Nadya grew up west of London and has found her home at Westmont. She searched for a new college after completing two years at a junior college. She describes applying to Westmont as a spiritual journey, saying the college has everything she ever wanted: challenging academics, a supportive Christian community and a first-rate athletic program.

Nadya spends her time learning in class and jumping for the track and field team. “At the junior college, you were on your own,” she says. “Westmont is different. People really care here. You are genuinely valued.” She feels a warmth and friendliness in the community and loves having the opportunity to attend chapel. “I wouldn’t miss it,” she says.
