What You Need to know for your Augustinian Weekend Visit

We ask Augustinian candidates to dress in your personal best throughout the weekend. As our coastal weather may be cooler in the morning and grow warmer in the afternoon, we recommend layers of clothing throughout the day. Please wear comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot during the weekend; golf carts will be available for anyone who needs transportation around campus. Please dress in your Sunday best for the semi-formal Scholar’s Banquet, where we celebrate you!

Candidates competing for the Augustinian Scholarship will stay overnight in our residence halls so you can experience life on campus and meet the Augustinian Scholars attending Westmont.

Families and guests can check our website to find a hotel that offers a special Westmont rate when you mention the college.

Check-in on Friday begins at 8 a.m. at the Global Leadership Center (campus map and directions to campus). The morning begins with the President’s Breakfast Reception, and the program starts promptly at 9 a.m.

Candidates enjoy complimentary meals during the weekend. Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towel for your overnight stay. If you are unable to bring these items, please email admissionevents@westmont.edu by Wednesday, January 30, to let us know, and we will have a set reserved for you.

Parents and guests are invited and encouraged to attend Augustinian Weekend events. Please see the schedule above for more details. Only students may attend events identified as Candidates Only. Please wear comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot during the weekend; golf carts will be available for anyone who needs transportation around campus.

After you follow directions to campus, take the first campus entrance on Cold Spring Road on the left Westmont College Cold Spring Entrance. Signs and balloons will guide you to the Global Leadership Center, where you will check in.
