Keynote Speaker
Jovanni Tricerri (’00) studied abroad with Westmont in Europe; graduated with a B.A. in Religious Studies; and holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University. Jovanni lived in Washington DC for 11 years while traveling throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia nurturing communities of faith. With his wife Hilary (’01) he lived and worked in Guatemala with a social medical non-profit that was largely built by Westmont Alumni. He has 20 years experience in international relief and development work and has travelled to over 35 countries as a strategic advisor on issues related to poverty, international relations, leadership development and peace and reconciliation initiatives. He serves as an advisor to several international non-profit organizations in Central and South America and South Asia. He is Vice President, Regional Recovery & Partnerships with North Valley Community Foundation (Chico, CA) leading the philanthropic efforts following the Camp Fire by collaborating with community leaders, agencies and organizations for the long-term recovery of the region.
