Westmont Magazine Student Statistics

Westmont welcomed 421 new students (291 first-year and 130 transfers) to campus this fall. Coming from 42 states and 15 foreign countries, they earned an overall grade point average of 3.52. With 763 resuming their studies at Westmont this semester, on-campus enrollment totals 1,184.

<p.The retention rate (the percentage of students eligible to return who actually do so) is an impressive 90 percent. As President Winter notes, “Having most of our eligible students come back is a strong vote of confidence in the distinctive education they receive. It’s encouraging that so many middle-income families are willing to invest in an independent college.”
