Westmont Magazine Wallace Emerson Society

Ed and Betty Bouslough have invested their lives in Westmont. Ed taught church history for more than 30 years and also served as dean of students, chaplain, and missions coordinator in his 35-year career at the college. An ordained minister, he taught a marriage and courtship class and performed several weddings for students in the course. Betty advised WOWS (Wives of Westmont Students) while caring for their six children, and later worked part time on campus. Known affectionately as Dr. and Mrs. “B,” they grew close to generations of students and built enduring friendships. To continue their investment in Westmont, they joined the Wallace Emerson Society by including a provision for the college in their estate. “We have seen how the Lord has used Westmont to reset the direction of students’ lives for eternity and want our stewardship to provide this opportunity for others,” they explain.
