Donations to the Westmont Fund Double for Giving Tuesday
By
Westmont
A generous donor has committed $50,000 to match gifts made to the Westmont Fund between November 26 and December 3, doubling the impact of your donation until midnight or until the match has been met.
The Westmont Fund is vital in providing students with the scholarship support they need to pursue a top ranked Christian liberal arts education. This year alone, Westmont is allocating $39 million in scholarships, ensuring students have the opportunity to attend. An impressive 95% of first-year and transfer students receive some form of financial aid. For many students, scholarships are essential to both enrolling and receiving an education from Westmont.
Every contribution–no matter the amount–helps us get closer to the $50,000 match. We are beyond thankful for all of those that choose to make a gift and support our Westmont community. You can make a donation here.
Additionally, during the Giving Tuesday window, there’s a special opportunity to have all purchases of engraved bricks in the Formal Gardens count towards our challenge match. This beautiful space on Westmont’s campus holds great significance, as it’s where students take part in their First Walk when they are beginning their Westmont journey and Commencement. If you purchase a brick between November 26 and December 3, your contribution will automatically count toward the Giving Tuesday challenge match. Over 350 bricks have been installed on the pathway, with new bricks installed in phases. Purchase a brick here. For questions regarding Giving Tuesday brick please contact Jonathan Thomas, senior director of annual giving.
