Local radio station KDB (93.7 FM) will be feature American Double on Santa Barbara in Concert, Sunday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. in a performance recorded Oct. 19 at Montecito Covenant Church.

The violin-piano duo is on a national CD-release tour, performing the complete works of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer William Bolcom for violin and piano. “The Bolcom Project,” released on Albany Sept. 1, features four world premiere recordings. The composer has called them “great benchmarks for other performers, but also great performances on their own merits.”

Philip Ficsor, Westmont professor of violin, and pianist Constantine Finehouse make up American Double.
