Fatherly Advice from Photographer Brad Elliott

Brad Elliott, Westmont's long-time campus photographer, father of three and grandfather to four, offers this advice for fathers on Father's Day:

1. Say "I love you" often

2. Pray for and with your kids

3. Laugh with your kids and let your kids laugh at you

4. Allow your kids to fail and be there for them when they do

5. When your kids apologize, say "I forgive you"

6. Lots of singing and dancing, even if you can't sing or dance

7. Little moments matter, be present

8. Be their safe haven
