Horticulturist to Talk about Lotusland

Horticulturalist and Westmont alumna Virginia Hayes ‘72, curator of the living collection at Lotusland, lectures about Madame Ganna Walska’s famed botanic garden Tuesday, April 17, from 7-8 p.m. in Westmont’s Adams Center room 216. The lecture, part of Westmont in Lotusland Day, is free and open to the public. The lecture is in conjunction with a Lotusland art exhibition that’ll be on display in the library through the spring semester.

Westmont students, faculty and staff are invited to a free, private tour of Lotusland on April 17 at either 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling (805) 969-9990.

Lotusland, located on Cold Spring Road below Westmont, is known internationally for its diverse collection of rare and beautiful plants. Over 18 distinct gardens cover the grounds.
