An Israeli-Christian Shares His Perspective


Baruch Maoz

Baruch Maoz, an Israeli missionary, editor and publisher, talks about “An Israeli-Christian’s Perspective on Israel and Palestine” Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 4:45-6 p.m. in Westmont’s Page Hall. The lecture, sponsored by the Westmont Religious Studies Department, is free and open to the public.

Maoz, a Jewish convert to Christianity, worked with Christian Witness to Israel from 1974 to 2005. He founded and pastored Grace and Truth Christian Congregation in Israel from 1976 until he retired in 2008. A prolific writer, Maoz has published works in Hebrew and English, including “Jonah - A Prophet on the Run and “Judaism is not Jewish - a Friendly Critique of the Messianic Movement.”
