Westmont Theater Sings Broadway Hits

Some Enchanted Evening final poster high qualityWestmont students will perform many of the funniest, most moving and memorable songs of the musical theater canon Friday, Nov. 13, at 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. in Porter Theatre. Tickets to “Some Enchanted Evening: Westmont Sings Broadway,” which cost $15 for general admission, $10 for students, seniors and children, may be purchased at www.westmont.edu/boxoffice. “Some Enchanted Evening,” directed by Mitchell Thomas,  features music from “Wicked,” “Into the Woods,” “Bridges of Madison County,” “A Chorus Line,” “Title of Show,” “Cabaret,” “Spamalot,” “Seesaw,” “In the Heights,” “The Sound of Music,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

“Our season lineup at Westmont theater has something for everyone,” Thomas says. “After closing our recent productions of the challenging new plays “Good Day” and “Mad & A Goat,” we are excited to present a very different kind of performance that highlights wonderful music from beloved musicals.”

The all-ages show is two hours long with an intermission.
