Please continue to monitor your email for additional updates related to this weather event, and note that while Westmont will resume normal operations, additional rains are forecasted through Wednesday, so please plan accordingly and travel safely.

Santa Barbara County is experiencing a significant winter storm through Monday, February 5. Due to the potential impact of the storm, classes will be canceled on Monday, February 5. Westmont does anticipate that classes will resume on Tuesday, February 6. Please note that the Dining Commons will be open for normal business hours on both days.

DO NOT attempt to drive while it is dark or raining, as roads may be damaged or your car may be swept away by moving water or debris. Limit your outdoor activity and avoid creeks adjacent to campus during the storm. The Westmont campus is safe and has a shelter-in-place designation from the County of Santa Barbara. If you are on campus during the storm, please stay indoors and do not try to leave until the storm has passed and creek activity has diminished.
