Professor Milner graduated from Biola University and earned a master’s degree in physical education at the University of Oregon. She joined the Westmont faculty in 1978. She brings to the Kinesiology Department a passion for working with people with disabilities and older adults, as well as introducing students to kinesiology through her foundations course. As past chair, she has played a crucial role in the development of the kinesiology curriculum, helping to grow the major to more than 150 students. She is one of the founders and co-director of the kinesiology Europe Mayterm program, which has introduced over 150 students to European research and sport science studies.
