Biography/Details

Dr. Beers graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, and completed her doctorate at London School of Theology in England. Her current research interests and specialties include Luke-Acts, Colossians and Philemon, the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament, demons and magic in the Greco-Roman world, and pneumatic/pentecostal hermeneutics. She is currently co-editing a new commentary series to be published by Baker Academic that is written by and for pentecostals and charismatics. She is also authoring the volume on Colossians and Philemon in the series.
