DISCOVER YOUR DEEPER PURPOSE

One Impact

Convention says that you have to choose between scholarly knowledge and scriptural truth. But that's like using only half your brain, or relying on only half the information. Here, you'll pull from both. You'll layer biology, psychology, and every other ology on top of theology until you're so immersed in knowledge that deeper thinking becomes second nature. And in this one-of-a-kind location where faith and intellect intersect, you'll not only pursue your career, you'll uncover your calling. What one impact will you make?

Narindra Rafidimalala

Narindra Rafidimalala, a native of Madagascar, transferred to Westmont and found a community committed to cultivating maturity of mind, body and spirit through the rigorous pursuit of athletic excellence, integrated learning and Christ-centered leadership. “I wanted a place where I could develop myself. A smaller college would help me develop as an athlete, a student and in my faith,” he says. Narindra, who holds college records in the 60 meter, 100 meter, 4x100 meter relay, long jump and triple jump, hopes to compete for Madagascar in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Nathanael Nims

Nathaniel Nims '23, a double major in economics/business and music, lives in Colorado Springs and works as a client services associate with Excellence in Giving, LLC, a premier philanthropic advisory and research firm. He finds great joy being with his wife surrounded by the beaty of the mountains, exploring the wonders of classical music, and spending time with his little brothers. When he wasn't playing the piano at Westmont,  he was active with the student council, debate club and even learned to SCUBA dive.

Sibongakonkhe 'Sibo' Msibi

Sibo, a native of Swaziland, graduated from Westmont in 2023 and is attending graduate school at Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. While attending Westmont, he joined an elite group of 20 Fellows over the summer at the Vocal Institute at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara -- the first Westmont student to achieve this honor. He was chosen from an international pool of talented applicants who seek careers in opera to pursue advanced study and performance under the guidance of internationally renowned faculty artists, soloists and guest conductors.

Simon Reid

Simon Reid, drafted as a junior by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022, helped guide the Warriors to their first trip to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. He says Westmont is different because students focus on a bigger picture,  representing the college and community while trying to resemble Christ. Simon's career batting average of .378 is the fourth-highest clip in program history.

Stefanie Berberabe

Stefanie Berberabe, one of the most decorated players in Westmont women's basketball history, wants to live a life full of joy and love. Her game reflects her desire to glorify God on the court. "He's our audience of one," she says. "We are performing for him." At Westmont, Stefanie says everyone was so welcoming and made her feel like family. She is an NAIA Player of the Year, two-time NAIA All-American, two-time GSAC Player of the Year, and three-time All-GSAC selection.

Senzo "Zola" Sokhela

Zola, a Michaelhouse Scholar from South Africa, is the back-to-back U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's NAIA Outdoor Track and Field West Region Track Athlete of the Year. In 2021, he was not only named the West Region's Track Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA, but also the overall NAIA Track Athlete of the Outdoor season. "At Westmont, they welcomed me with open arms and it's been a dream ever since," he says.
