The baseball team (23-6, 10-6 GSAC) got off to a hot start, winning its first 10 games, including a victory against then-No. 5 Lewis and Clark (Idaho). The March 9 NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll ranked the Warriors as No. 3 in the nation.

The Warriors have had 11 players sign with MLB teams in the last five years, including Andrew Vasquez, who made his major league debut with the Minnesota Twins in 2018.

Westmont baseball has earned a berth at the NAIA National Tournament four of the last five years.

The Warriors are led by head coach Robert Ruiz, who in his 10th season has surpassed coaching legend John Kirkgard, the winningest coach in Warrior history. Kirkard amassed a record of 281-299 in his 13 seasons with Westmont Baseball.
