Westmont Magazine From the Chairman of the Board

The past fiscal year has certainly been a successful – and memorable — one for Westmont. On behalf of the board of trustees, I am pleased to present the 2000-2001 fiscal report, which shows that we continue to operate with sound financial management.

As expected, Westmont ended the fiscal year in the black and continued to strengthen its financial standing through prudent and wise planning. We are greatly encouraged by the way donors are supporting our vision for the future. The response of our alumni, parents and friends to the campaign, Embracing the Past, Ensuring the Future, has been most encouraging. The college has also moved up in the U.S. News & World Report rankings. We’re excited about the increasing quality of our academic program and the growing level of financial support.

We deeply appreciate your support and involvement in our ministry of higher education. Every donor listed in these pages has made an important contribution. The college community joins me in expressing sincere thanks to you.
