Westmont Magazine From the Chairman of the Board
On behalf of the Westmont Board of Trustees, I am delighted to present the 1999-2000 fiscal report, which shows that we continue to operate with sound financial management.
As expected, Westmont ended the 1999-2000 fiscal year in the black and continued to strengthen its financial standing through prudent and wise planning. In addition, donors are supporting our vision for the future — which includes a completed campus — with great enthusiasm. The college has also moved up in the U.S. News & World Report rankings. We’re excited about the momentum we see in the increasing quality of our academic program and the growing level of financial support from alumni, parents, friends, and foundations. The stage is set for increased performance in all areas.
We deeply appreciate your support and involvement in our ministry of higher education. Every donor listed in these pages has made an important contribution. The college community joins me in expressing sincere thanks to you.
