Professor Stewart M. Hoover from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder, spoke on “Religion in the Media Age” in February. He opened a mini-conference on “Religion and Media: Covering Faith in a Sound Bite” sponsored by Westmont and the UCSB Walter H. Capps Center for the Study of Religion and Public Life.
