Westmont Magazine A Full Ride

For the first time, Westmont is offering four full-tuition scholarships to first-year students. This spring, the admissions office invited 30 top applicants to campus for interviews and an opportunity to get to know Westmont better. Honored at a reception and a dinner, the students attended mini-classes and a faculty colloquy. The interviews by faculty and administrators and an essay written in response to the colloquy will determine the four full-tuition scholarship winners.

To qualify, students had to apply for early-action admission to Westmont. The scholarship criteria includes a combined SAT score of 1300 and a GPA of 4.0. The mean SAT score of the 30 finalists is 1500. These students have also applied to Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Vanderbilt, Yale, Claremont, Pomona, UC Davis and UC Berkeley.
