Westmont Magazine Goodbye to Glenn

After 24 years of fund raising at Westmont, Glen Adams retired Aug. 31.

He joined the staff in 1977 as vice president for college advancement and became assistant executive vice president and director of major gifts in 1994.

He earned a doctorate in history from USC and taught at Azusa Pacific University, where he also served as vice president for development.

His involvement in the Santa Barbara community includes membership in the Rotary Club, the Santa Barbara Club, and the board of the YMCA. He has also served on the boards of HCJB, the National Council for Child Abuse, and Paradise Springs Christian Conference.

“We are so thankful for Glen’s leadership of our development program over the years,” said Chancellor David Winter. “He has made a significant contribution and is a great colleague and friend.”
