Westmont Magazine Homecoming Still to Come

A Homecoming committee is already meeting to plan activities for the 1997 celebration September 26-28. Moving the date for this annual event to the fall should ensure better weather. In fact, it rained in Santa Barbara during the weekend in January normally set aside for this event.

Changing seasons means switching sports, and Homecoming participants will be able to see both a men’s and women’s soccer game on Saturday. The Westmont Warrior Hall of Fame banquet will take place Friday evening, and the Wallace Emerson Society luncheon is scheduled for Friday afternoon. The Homecoming carnival and dinner party will occur on Saturday as usual. Please mark your calendar today and look for more information in the mail.</p.
