Westmont Magazine A Night in Narnia

Costumes and Props from the Movie Go On Display with Westmont’s Wardrobe

Visitors admire wardrobe and costumes

Alumni families ventured into Narnia in March when Westmont hosted a display of costumes and props from the movie “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Disney graciously loaned the items, thanks to the efforts of Trustee Mark Zoradi ’76, president of Buena Vista International. They also provided promotional materials to give away. Children and their parents tried out the swords and shields, listened to stories from the classic C.S. Lewis books and tasted Turkish Delight and hot chocolate. The Westmont wardrobe was also on exhibit. Once owned by Lewis, it closely matches the description of the magical wardrobe in the book. Pam Arneson, associate director of alumni and parent relations, recounted its history to visitors.
