Health Center Health & Wellness

During your time at Westmont, you will have access to an on-campus health clinic, including two physicians, medical assistant, and medical office manager.

The Health Center is committed to being on mission with Christ in our participation as health care providers in the movement of God's love towards people. We accomplish this by maintaining a staff with years of experience and training in the area of college health. As such, we are able to provide the excellent health care that is focused in caring for college students. By partnering with you in assuming responsibility for your own health care needs, we hope to equip you with the skills needed to access health care throughout your life.

Not all insurances are valid in the Santa Barbara area (eg Kaiser or Medicaid based in other counties). Contact your insurance company to find out more information. We recommend that you carry your card or keep an electronic copy of your insurance card. In addition, you can email us at shs.westmont.edu a copy of your insurance card or upload it on our patient portal at https://westmont.medicatconnect.com/ by logging in with your Westmont credentials, then click Uploads tab in the menu and follow the instructions.

  • Westmont does not offer a supplemental health insurance policy. Students are encouraged to ensure that they are included on parent/guardian policies where possible, or to obtain personal coverage in compliance with the Affordable Care Act requirement of medical insurance for all adults in the United States.
