Westmont Magazine Not for Students Only

While their students were learning about life at Westmont, parents underwent their own orientation in August before classes began. Whether their sons and daughters were enrolling as new first-year students or transferring from another school, parents had the opportunity to hear from President David Winter, meet members of the residence hall staff, ask questions of a panel of parents, and tour campus. They also joined students at a picnic dinner and a worship service welcoming new students and parents to campus.

Members of the Parents Council hosted these events and greeted parents as they helped move students into their rooms. Parents Council members are available to answer questions throughout the year; their names and telephone numbers appear in the Parents Handbook mailed this fall.
