Westmont Magazine An Old Fashioned Revival

Fans of the Old-Fashioned Revival Hour Quartet will be pleased to hear that a new Golden Collection CD of the quartet’s music is now available.

Westmont’s John Lundberg, professor emeritus of music and director of the Westmont Quartet for more than 20 years, performed with the Revival Hour Quartet on the popular and long-running radio program featuring Charles Fuller. Some of Lundberg’s students appeared with the Revival Hour Choir, as did the late professors David Hubbard ’49 and Elias Wiebe.

Alums planning to attend Homecoming who would like to purchase one of the Revival Hour Quartet’s Golden Collection CDs can order it in advance from Lundberg and pick it up from the Westmont Bookstore during Homecoming. CDs and cassettes are also available of the “Songs of Faith,” featuring Lundberg’s Westmont Women’s and Men’s Choruses. CDs are $15 plus tax, and cassettes (for “Songs of Faith” only) are $10 plus tax. To order a CD or cassette, please contact John Lundberg as soon as possible at 805-693-8906, jblundberg@mindspring.com, or 531 Meadow View Road, Buellton, CA 93427. Please include your phone number with your order.

Those attending Homecoming can pick up and pay for their order in the Westmont bookstore. Or you may have your order shipped to you by sending the bookstore a check payable to Westmont College; the total cost for a CD (including tax and shipping) is $17.66 and for a “Songs of Faith” cassette is $12.28.
