Westmont Magazine Parents Come on Board
Pleased with their daughter Katie’s positive experience at Westmont, Jim and Mary Beth Vogelzang have become faithful supporters of the college. Jim has taken this commitment one step further by becoming the newest member of the Westmont board. He attended his first meeting as a trustee in October.
The president of Denver-based Vogelzang & Associates Inc., Jim works closely with Mary Beth, who is a vice president and principal of the firm. They provide sales and marketing for money managers, primarily in small companies.
The Vogelzangs live in Denver and attend Cherry Creek Presbyterian church. They also own a home in Montecito and a vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. They have two daughters: Katie ’98 and Emily.
“Jim and Mary Beth are a wonderful addition to the board,” says President David Winter. “They have thrown themselves into the life of the board and college, and have made many contributions already.”
