Westmont Magazine Renovation to Carroll Observatory

Workers finish renovations to Carroll Observatory to prepare for the arrival of a new, high-tech telescope. The 24-inch reflector will be the finest scope between the Bay Area and Los Angeles. W. M. Keck Foundation awarded $300,000 for the instrument, The James L. Stamps Foundation gave $90,000, and another foundation contributed $15,000 for the $635,000 project.
