Westmont Magazine Volunteers at Heart

Bob ’74 and Wendy Moe ’76 Ludwick have faithfully given their time to Westmont for 20 years. He served on the Alumni Council and Homecoming Committee during the 1980s and currently co-chairs the President’s Associates Steering Committee. This year he also co-led the phonathon for the President’s Associates and helped increase support for the college. In addition, Wendy and Bob belong to the Wallace Emerson Society. For their many years of service, Westmont honors them as the Volunteers of the Year for 1999.

The Ludwicks also volunteer generously in the Santa Barbara Community. Bob has coached both soccer and basketball teams for many years and has raised funds for the YMCA. They are active parents at Cold Spring School (Bob was president of the Cold Spring Foundation), Santa Barbara Junior High (where they co-led annual fund-raising efforts for more than five years), and Santa Barbara High School (they co-chaired the after-prom party, and Wendy served as vice president of hospitality for the PTSA). Members of the Santa Bar-bara Regional Young Life Steering Com-mittee, Bob and Wendy are also intimately involved with Montecito Covenant Church and its youth programs.
A real estate developer and consultant, Bob is the president of Triad Realty Advisors Inc. Wendy works as an instructional aid to first graders at Cold Spring School. The Ludwicks have four children: Taylor is a first-year student at Westmont, Grant attends Santa Barbara High, Seth goes to Santa Barbara Junior High, and April is at Cold Spring School.
