How to Help Parents & Families

Your involvement is warmly welcome! Here are a few ideas.

ATTEND

Westmont is blessed with an outstanding parent and alumni community. When we have an event in your area, don’t be surprised when you’re invited! Whether you’re the parent of a current student or an alum, you are always warmly welcome to continue and deepen your ties to the Westmont community for years to come. We hope to see you there!

GIVE

Westmont parents are some of our most generous, gracious supporters. This generosity has opened doors of opportunity for many students to realize their dream of a Westmont education. Making a gift of any amount to the Parents Fund is one way you can express support for the mission of the college and make a practical difference in the lives of students who depend upon scholarships. Your gift makes a difference.

HOST

If you enjoy using your home as a place for prospective or admitted students to connect and learn more about Westmont, we would love to hear from you.  Sometimes hosting is as simple as inviting other current parents to meet up for coffee nearby. You’ll be fostering connections that may lead to prayer partners, ride sharing and more.

PRAY

The best thing you can do for your student and the Westmont community is to pray! Intercede for this campus, and ask that God would be glorified in all things. If you are local or visiting, consider making a prayer walk around campus. Considering forming a prayer group of parents in your area.

SHARE

Share about Westmont with prospective students or refer them to us to have a Westmont admission team member contact them. If you have a high school student or know someone who does, you can tell them about Trailhead, Westmont's program for teens thinking about college and the big questions in life.

Email us at parents@westmont.edu to learn more about any of these ideas or to share your ideas for how you would like to help. We'd love to hear from you.
