Student Happenings Students Spend Spring Break Giving Back

While many students left campus for a much-needed break, others used the time to give back. “It’s a testament to our students’ faith that they continue to use their gifts and talents serving other communities,” says Angela D'Amour, director of campus life. In a year of challenges with the Thomas Fire and the Montecito mudslides, more than 300 students chose to spend their spring break giving back in Ensenada, Mexico, with Potter’s Clay and with Urban Initiative, working with homeless, marginalized communities, and engaging in interfaith dialogue in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

Our Potter’s Clay team even got some press coverage in Mexico. See the article HERE.
