Counseling and Psychological Services Request an Appointment
COVID-19 Update - Given social distancing, all counseling at CAPS for the Fall 2020 semester will occur via HIPAA compliant Zoom sessions. Though that may seem like an awkward or uncomfortable way to receive support, you will find that counseling via Zoom is far easier than one may think. Research already shows that virtual counseling can be as effective as in-person. Plus, when you have a super great and chill staff such as those at CAPS, you are in good hands. We hope to "see" you soon in one of our virtual sessions.
To request an appointment, you will be directed to complete several online forms, similar to those you would complete at any health / mental health office. They take 5-10 minutes, and due to confidentiality, the forms do not save until you complete the last one (so complete them in one sitting). After submitting your request, we typically respond via email within two business days.
If you are unable to complete the online forms for any reason, simply email our office manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are facing a psychological emergency, please review the information on our website about emergencies. Since online forms are not read by mental health staff immediately, they are not a means to communicate an emergency.
